Civil Operative

Job Description

Avenue Recruitment are looking for 2x 2 man civil gangs to join the team and work on a new project in East Lothian, Edinburgh. Permanent role, salary negotiable for right candidates.

You will be required to perform excavations, repairs and reinstatement's and installation of ducting and lines.

Duties include:

• Track work.
• Installing new duct work and chambers.
• Clearing blockages.
• Utilities.
• Box building, cabinet building.
• Groundworks as required

You will need:

• A full UK Driving Licence
• BT and Virgin Network experiences
• One member or both will need to hold a valid NRSWA street works Operative units 1 to 9 including the Openreach Civils accreditation modules.
• Be competent in the use of mechanical Civils equipment.
• Plant tickets would be an advantage but not necessary
• Previous experience in box building and cabinet building is essential.
