Internal Recruitment Consultant – Glasgow – Permanent - £Neg DOE
Our client a leading player in the water sector has an opportunity for an Internal Recruitment Consultant to join their team based between their offices in Glasgow & Livingston.
Overall purpose of this role is to provide a professional and efficient recruitment & selection service in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, you will have sole responsibility for the end to end process of internal recruitment & selection activity across 2 sites (Glasgow and Livingston), therefore travel between sites is required. Through direct candidate sourcing and agency management you will provide hiring managers with the appropriate candidates that will contribute to the success of the business, embracing the organisational values. Using a best practice approach to recruitment, you are a methodical person who can enhance the existing design of the recruitment process and integrate the key elements of human resource and employment law. As a pro-active individual you bring energy and enthusiasm to the role and have an ability to form strong working relationships. Providing a positive candidate experience that will endorse the organisation and exhibit professionalism, your creative approach will enhance the recruitment & selection process and procedure.
CV screening, Co-ordinating interviews, participate in interviews, providing feedback to candidates/agencies/hiring managers, coach and develop hiring managers, report on resourcing to HR and update knowledge on best practice and legislative change.
- Recent experience of internal recruitment
- CIPD Qualified – extremely desirable
- Educated to degree level
- Experience in Human Resource and/or Learning Development
- Strong interview skills
- Ability to create/follow structure and process
- Great eye for detail
- Full driving licence
