Site Manager (T&D)

Are you an Electrical Site Manager with experience in Substation Transmission and Distribution? If so, this leading provider of advanced automation and real-time business intelligence could be looking for you. They specialise in Automation, Control, IT Solutions and Services and operate within major industries such as Nuclear, Power Generation, Utilities and Transmission markets.
The Site Manager will work between my client’s office in Staffordshire and their various client sites and be responsible for delivering E,C&I projects safely to cost, time and specification.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Managing the installation and customer acceptance of Substation Control System projects in the Transmission and Distribution Business in accordance with National Grid safety standards and local site work practices
• People-management responsibility for leading and motivating a subset of the project team of software and hardware engineers (typically 1 to 5+) during the site installation and commissioning phases of the project
• Control and management of installation sub-contractors (typically cable installation and minor electrical/mechanical works)
You will have successfully completed CCNSG Safety Passport Supervisor training and have a minimum of an HND level qualification in a relevant subject.
Additionally, you will have demonstrable experience of delivering E,C&I solutions on site with a track record of success – on time, to specification and on budget within a commercial environment and have the ability to drive RTU/SCADA/DCS from a diagnostic perspective and fault find on electrical circuits.
